Sample size 300mm x 300mm x 9mm This environmentally friendly, beautiful solid wood has excellent, natural insulating properties and is well know for its sound deadening and acoustic characteristics. This makes it ideal for use in any commercial or residential environment, where these qualities are important. Our Oakleye timber is an excellent and competitive alternative to oak. Made in our Suffolk workshop. These panels are stable and strong; however, they are light in weight and flexible. This makes them far easier to hold in place and fix to wall surfaces than heavy MDF or veneers. They are straightforward to fit. Just use a good quality mastic glue on the 'B' face of the panel and apply it to the wall. The panels butt together seamlessly and mould perfectly to your wall surface. Our timber is carefully kiln dried to 12% moisture content and so you won't experience any shrinkage with the panels. We supply this product in natural wood ready for finishing. The panels have a sanded surface which is ideal for all types of finish. Clear varnish, wax, Danish Oils and all paints all work perfectly with this premium product.
